60 percent of the activities (affinity with sports is a pro) concern: Assisting in teaching during three days per week at primary schools from the foundation Stichting Scala, age children 4-12 years old. Depending on the interest of the volunteer this could be assisting in teaching English or another language and non-formal education. Focus will be for someone interested in doing sports for the project “Dynamic Schoolday”, in which children will move more during the day. 40 percent of the activities concern: Organising educational material boxes and outside lessons for the teachers of 13 schools at the Bosbessenschool. This is not a physical school, but an innovative approach for teaching. This means education through experience and projects. Evaluation and self-reflection of the children are very important. Physical learning with children into nature. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Accommodation in 's-Hertogenbosch is provided. Pocket money, food allowance, dutch lessons. Transport is a bike. Training during the activity on-arrival and mid-term training, dutch lessons Participant profile Independant, hands-on open-minded, social, energetic and creative youngsters who have affinity with children and are interested in music, acting, dance, nature, craftmanship and sustainability. Furthermore, he or she likes to organize and plan events and teach children.
