Overview

Centru Tbexbix Cospicua, Malta Volunteer opportunity: Heads High

Key Responsibilities

CENTRU TBEXBIX represents a socio-educational initiative with a mission to empower participants by unveiling unconventional pathways of learning and unlocking their hidden potential through informal education. Our lessons are conducted in English and encompass a wide spectrum of activities, including creativity, theatre, music, diverse art forms, sports, yoga, and a strong emphasis on promoting a healthy lifestyle and nutrition. Motivation letter and CV can be sent to tbexbix.evs@gmail.com. In addition to our core activities, the ESC volunteer program offers a rich array of engagement opportunities. Volunteers actively participate in various initiatives, working with both children and the elderly within the community. These activities include planning and executing artistic workshops, organizing excursions, and hosting social events. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements As part of the ESC program, all expenses related to accommodation, round-trip travel, and utilities are fully covered by the ESC project. Volunteers will be accommodated in a shared apartment. Additionally, a monthly stipend for personal expenses, as well as comprehensive medical insurance coverage throughout the duration of the ESC project, will be provided. Training during the activity Upon commencing your ESC program, you can expect to participate in an "on-arrival training" organized by the National Agency (NA), along with a "mid-term evaluation" conducted at the halfway point of the project. Additionally, upon arrival, volunteers will engage in an internal training facilitated by Centru Tbexbix. Throughout the entirety of the project, volunteers will receive continuous support from their designated mentor. Moreover, there will be an option for volunteers to enrol in a local language course should they wish to do so. Participant profile The organization is seeking volunteers who possess a strong command of the English language, are creatively inclined, enjoy sports, and have a genuine passion for learning and collaborating with vulnerable children and/or elderly individuals.
