Overview
Traineeship position focused on financial support within an Area Program, aiming to build capacity for future finance roles and assist in project implementation and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and practice WVV core values, missions, and policies
- Understand AP plans, log-frames, and technical models
- Provide administrative financial services to projects
- Collaborate with AP/Project team members on financial guidance
- Learn day-to-day operational procedures in planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, closure, and audit
- Ensure adequacy and correctness of supporting documents for payments
- Verify quality and accuracy of quotations, goods, and services
- Assist other projects and APs with cross-reviews and cross-audits
- Participate in other tasks as requested by AP manager
Required Experience
- Experience in community development or with NGO
- Experience in capacity building for local stakeholders/partners
- Experience in accounting and finance
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
