Overview
The Supply Chain Intern will assist with the operational activities of the Manila Supply Chain Unit (MSCU), supporting missions and offices worldwide with procurement and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in providing support to Missions and Offices worldwide for regular and emergency related requests.
- Prepare and issue solicitations in Oracle ERP system in accordance with procurement procedures and policies.
- Coordinate logistics of goods and services and maintain internal databases.
- Provide admin support for timely processing of payment through the Invoice Submission Tool (IST).
- Provide admin support and participate in the establishment of global Long-Term Agreements (LTA) and monitor adherence to contractual agreements.
Required Experience
Interns should have less than two years of relevant working experience.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have graduated in the past four years in procurement, Management, Business/Public Administration, or other relevant discipline.
- Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office and other applications such Visio.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
