Overview
Support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) activities. Ensure programs are transparent, inclusive, and responsive to community needs through direct engagement and feedback mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate community mobilization and awareness sessions.
- Establish and manage feedback and complaints mechanisms.
- Collect and analyze data on community feedback and participation.
- Train staff, partners, and community members on CEA principles.
- Ensure activities uphold safety, dignity, and inclusion of beneficiaries.
- Coordinate with program teams to integrate community feedback.
- Collect and share weekly field data, including photos and meeting minutes.
- Support project monitoring and reporting.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in community engagement, accountability, or protection in humanitarian or recovery contexts.
- Experience managing feedback and complaints mechanisms.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations (IDPs, returnees, women, children).
- Experience of working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, including Outlook for email).
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences, International Relations, Community Development.
