Overview
The role is responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with potential private donors to increase funding for programs in Germany and potentially neighboring countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strategic and sustainable relationships with potential private donors.
- Developing and tracking annual goals for increasing private funding.
- Preparing and following up on relevant appointments and documenting activities.
- Collaborating with internal teams to submit high-quality funding proposals, budgets, and reports.
- Exchanging with local and international fundraising and support teams.
- Contributing to the operational and strategic management of the entire program area.
Required Experience
- At least five to seven years of relevant professional experience with increasing responsibility.
- Experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or corporate volunteering.
- Knowledge of the donor and fundraising landscape in Germany.
- Proven success in developing and securing funding proposals.
- Strong research and analytical skills for identifying potential private funding sources.
