Overview

The role is responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with potential private donors to increase funding for programs in Germany and potentially neighboring countries.


Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining strategic and sustainable relationships with potential private donors.
  • Developing and tracking annual goals for increasing private funding.
  • Preparing and following up on relevant appointments and documenting activities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to submit high-quality funding proposals, budgets, and reports.
  • Exchanging with local and international fundraising and support teams.
  • Contributing to the operational and strategic management of the entire program area.
Required Experience
  • At least five to seven years of relevant professional experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or corporate volunteering.
  • Knowledge of the donor and fundraising landscape in Germany.
  • Proven success in developing and securing funding proposals.
  • Strong research and analytical skills for identifying potential private funding sources.

Languages Required
• German and English language skills in speaking and writing at least C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

Remuneration
• Starting salary of 57,555 Euros gross per year (for full-time, 40 hrs./week). • Annual salary adjustment.
