Overview

This is a pipeline for qualified candidates to be considered for short-term positions within the Waste Technology Section. The experts will contribute to fostering technology and knowledge transfer, adopting sound policies and strategies, and promoting information exchange in radioactive waste management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical editing of multi-author documents
  • Develop a sequence of web articles based on existing publications and documents
  • Develop training courses building on existing guidance/reference material and lectures
  • Develop story boards for eLearning in correlation of published documents
Required Experience

Minimum three years of relevant experience in editing, document writing and/or training and knowledge transfer in the expert areas of pre-disposal, or disposal or disused sealed radioactive sources. Relevant professional experience at the national, regional and/or international level is an asset.

Qualifications

University Degree or Advanced University Degree (Masters, PhD) in Applied Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanics or related field.

Fluency in written and spoken English.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) an asset.
