Overview

The volunteer will support fundraising and project development by identifying and analysing grant opportunities, and assisting with early proposal development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor funding databases and donor websites.
  • Assess eligibility and strategic fit of funding opportunities.
  • Prepare concise summaries of promising opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to support early proposal development.
  • Conduct background research for proposals.
  • Collect required information for proposals.
  • Contribute to draft concept notes or sections of grant applications.
Required Experience

Experience with grants or research is an advantage.

Remuneration
• All the costs associated with the volunteering will be covered by the grant. • The volunteer will be provided round flight ticket and a lockable and safe apartment, with a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom in the city center near the office premises. • The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance to cover other daily expenses such as meals, local transportation, communication, and other living necessities.
