Overview
The Field Team Leader will lead the Field Development Officer (FDO) team to ensure the implementation of strategies that integrate programs, grants, and sponsorships in the field. This role aims to create a positive impact on achieving the outputs and outcomes of sponsorship communication and enhance program impact through meaningful participation of children, sponsored families, and community members.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and build the capacity of Field Development Officers (FDOs).
- Ensure FDOs can facilitate participatory programs and build relationships with children and communities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to FDOs.
- Identify issues related to children and young people in villages.
- Prepare village communities and CBOs to support program implementation.
- Engage and prepare traditional and religious leaders.
- Propose village project priorities.
- Conduct advocacy and provide assistance to village governments.
- Build networks with CBOs and civil society organizations.
- Facilitate children’s and youth groups/organizations to voice concerns.
- Assist in the coordination and monitoring of other Plan-funded projects.
- Ensure the implementation of the Sahabat Plan initiative.
- Ensure the availability of updated village profile data.
- Share stories about achievements or changes in villages.
- Ensure sponsorship communication is well integrated into community programs.
- Take responsibility for the quantity and quality of sponsorship communication products.
- Ensure the implementation of Plan’s nine commitments.
- Provide orientation, guidance, and explanations to sponsors visiting villages.
- Raise community awareness about the risks of unannounced visits.
- Conduct capacity building, training, and mentoring for volunteers.
- Organize annual meetings with Sponsorship Children (SC) and their families.
- Conduct home visits, prepare reports, and carry out follow-ups.
- Monitor SC wellbeing gaps and identify solutions.
- Support MER PIA in measuring the impact of sponsorship communication.
- Act as the representative of Yayasan Plan International Indonesia in villages and sub-districts.
- Provide regular program achievement reports to authorities.
- Ensure village records contributions of Yayasan Plan International Indonesia.
- Inform village and sub-district authorities about every activity.
- Discuss issues and challenges related to children and young people.
- Provide guidance and assistance to children and young people in program implementation.
- Ensure village and sub-district governments are involved in every activity.
- Ensure all project monitoring and reporting requirements are met.
- Ensure all liquidations and financial documents are submitted on time.
- Follow up on the Action and Accountability Log (AAL).
