Overview
Policy Officer role supporting analytical and strategic work in AI in Science and Critical Technologies, contributing to policy design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the analytic and strategic work of the Unit and the Directorate by contributing to the implementation of the European Strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Science, in coordination with other relevant stakeholders and DGs;
- Providing foresight for the strategic policy work of the Unit and Directorate and contribute to the design and implementation of policy-related activities, focused on scientific, technological, societal and economic aspects, including for critical technologies;
- Developing synergies with stakeholders and relevant DGs;
- Coordinating activities in the digital field within the DG;
- Preparing policy documents, briefings, and concept notes.
Required Experience
- Experience in the formulation and implementation of policy initiatives.
- Strong academic background, ideally with experience in scientific research in critical technologies.
Qualifications
Have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.
