Overview

Support the implementation of livelihoods activities in provinces, ensuring effective coordination with local communities, authorities, and partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, implementation, and monitoring of livelihoods activities including Cash-for-Work, skills development, employment forums, SME support, agricultural input assistance, market linkage, and financial literacy training.
  • Conduct field data collection for livelihoods assessments, including Labor Market Assessments, Multi-Sector Needs Assessments, and beneficiary profiling.
  • Retrieve, compile, and maintain accurate project documentation, including activity reports, budgets, and beneficiary records.
  • Monitor activity budgets, verify fund availability, obtain approvals, and update project and budget information.
  • Support coordination and implementation by liaising with local communities, beneficiaries, authorities, government institutions, UN agencies, and I/NGOs.
  • Draft field activity reports, monitor project progress, and identify implementation challenges.
  • Ensure integration of cross-cutting issues, including protection, labour rights, gender equality, and decent work.
  • Draft correspondence, field reports, briefing notes, statistical tables, and presentations.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and coordination platforms; support organization of training sessions, employment forums, and community outreach.
  • Respond to information requests and maintain organized project files and records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Two years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Four years of relevant professional experience with a high school diploma.
  • Experience in livelihoods development, income-generating activities, and economic resilience strategies, including project management of livelihood and economic empowerment activities.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-governmental, or government institutions in a multi-cultural setting will be an advantage.
Qualifications
  • High School Degree/Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture, International Relations, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
  • Relevant professional training or certifications in livelihoods, community development, or project management will be an advantage.
