Overview

The Treasury Assistant will execute payments, manage liquidity, process financial entries, and liaise with banking institutions under the guidance of senior financial staff.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute payments runs in Wave (oracle)
  • Monitor Fincoorp ticket and follow up on Proof of payments
  • Process payroll payments manually when required (outside Wave)
  • Monitor incoming Funds on HQ bank accounts and report discrepancies
  • Prepare accounting entries file in the Treasury management system
  • Record bonds transactions and update excel file
  • Monitor CITI bank compliance request cases and report discrepancies
  • Coordinate the creation of accounts with WAVE Central Support Team
  • Validate newly created accounts, and update closed accounts and changes in authorized local signatory panel
  • Coordinate with Manila Human Resource Operation Unit and/or Insurance Unit Manila (IUM) the retirees’ HI premiums received
  • Assist in the coordination with Central Accounting Support, Manila regarding bank reconciliations
  • Manage MTS mailbox and respond to routine queries/requests
  • Liaise with banking support to address operational banking matters
Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Work experience in the field of treasury or finance;
  • experience in the banking industry is a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of online banking systems and/or Oracle/or other ERP systems plus generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls
Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
