Overview
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Intern (Data and Governance) will assist the Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance unit in ensuring the responsible, secure, and ethical use of data and AI within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the global rollout of the Healthy Data Scorecard initiative to build and maintain the organisation’s data inventory and create a clear view of data ownership, location, and sensitivity.
- Support the management of the organisational AI Registry to maintain transparency and accountability for AI systems.
- Support data risk and compliance assessments to ensure data handling practices comply with policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Assist in preparing awareness materials and knowledge sessions on Data Governance.
- Conduct research on emerging Data Governance and AI governance frameworks and standards.
Required Experience
- Less than two years of relevant working experience.
- Experience compiling metrics or visualizations for dashboards (beneficial).
- Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis.
- Conceptual knowledge to enterprise data and AI inventories, data domain registers, or data management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent degree program, or have graduated in the last 12 months.
- Coursework or certification in Data Governance, Data Protection, or Information Security is an asset.
