Overview
Provide technical and administrative support for project deliverables, including implementation at the field level and programme development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work and engage with migrant workers and targeted communities
- Support data collection, training, workshops, and programme outreach
- Strengthen grassroots relationship building and coordinate with partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to understanding links between climate change and migration
- Support network establishment with government, civil society, academia, and NGOs
- Support the Indian programme team for diaspora engagement
- Support Implementing Partners in programme implementation
- Coordinate outreach activities to enhance project impact
- Facilitate translation of training modules and technical reports, and proofread translated materials
- Perform other assigned duties
Required Experience
- At least four years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or six years of relevant professional experience with a high school diploma.
- Possess a good understanding of Migration, displacement and labour mobility
- Knowledge of climate change adaptation strategies
- Experience in research, project design and formulation, management and technical cooperation, preferably within the social development field.
- Experience in liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities as well as with national and international institutions.
- Experience in liaising with senior government officials and civil society
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Environment, Climate Change, Human Rights, migration/mobility or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
- High school diploma in the above fields.
