Overview

The internship aims to attract talented students and graduates interested in areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities, focusing on Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance to ensure responsible, secure, and ethical use of data and AI.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the global rollout of the Healthy Data Scorecard initiative.
  • Support the management of the organisational AI Registry.
  • Support data risk and compliance assessments.
  • Assist in preparing awareness materials and knowledge sessions on data governance.
  • Conduct research on emerging Data governance and AI governance frameworks and standards.
Required Experience
  • Less than two years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience compiling metrics or visualizations for dashboards (beneficial).
  • Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis.
Qualifications
  • Current university student or recent graduate (within one year) in Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Coursework or certification in data governance, data protection, or information security is an asset.
