Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to NATO’s Cyber Defence and Digital Transformation efforts, supporting strategic decisions in digital and technological domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop research and analytical skills by contributing to high-level meetings, drafting strategic documents, and shaping policy.
- Work with NATO’s civil and military experts, engage with international delegations, and connect with industry leaders and academic professionals.
- Support the development and maintenance of technical interoperability standards.
- Contribute to semantic resources, data models, and ontologies.
- Support analysis related to artificial intelligence and machine learning interoperability considerations.
- Explore interoperability implications of cloud computing and emerging communication technologies.
- Assist in enterprise architecture modelling and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of briefings, analytical reports, and technical documentation.
- Support coordination with stakeholders across NATO bodies and agencies.
- Ensure coordination between Ukraine and NATO Stakeholders.
- Monitor progress of Ukraine C3/CIS projects.
- Draft Project Proposals in support of Ukraine Requirements.
- Support the revision of military cyber defence policies and strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of briefings, reports and military advice for political consideration.
Required Experience
• Previous experience with other international organizations, national administration, research or industry.
Qualifications
- At least two years of university level studies OR equivalent education OR be currently a student OR a recent graduate (degree obtained no longer than 12 months ago).
- A Bachelor's degree or in the final stage of a Master’s degree relevant to the requested area of expertise.
