Overview
Internship opportunity within the International Military Staff - Office of the Gender Advisor at NATO, focusing on gender and human security implications of NATO's core tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Office in addressing strategic, operational, and tactical issues relevant to gender in military operations.
- Organize events, conferences, meetings and seminars, including drafting meeting minutes, reports and agendas.
- Analyze and compile comparative statistics on the gender perspective within NATO’s Member and Partner Nations’ armed forces, using data analysis software.
- Provide administrative, organizational and coordinative support to the Office’s daily work strands.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head GENAD.
Required Experience
• Previous experience with other international organizations, national administration, research or industry.
Qualifications
- At least two years of university level studies OR equivalent education OR currently a student OR a recent graduate (degree obtained no longer than 12 months ago).
- Bachelor's degree or in the final stage of a Master’s degree relevant to the requested area of expertise.
