Overview
Internship opportunity within NATO's Office of Strategic Communications (OSC) to support public awareness and understanding of the Alliance's priorities and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns.
- Support multimedia content creation, including ideation, scripting, production, and distribution.
- Help build multi-channel campaigns to build support for the Alliance.
- Help map, vet and deliver programmes for content creators.
- Create content for NATO’s website, including research, writing, and editing.
- Help increase engagement through user journeys and assist with website testing.
- Implement the NATO brand strategy and develop merchandise.
- Develop and execute special projects.
- Support the delivery of NATO’s public opinion research programme.
- Support end-to-end delivery of commissioned research and contribute to survey design.
- Carry out analysis on NATO’s communications and information threats.
- Help coordinate capability development, including AI to enhance communications.
- Cooperate with Allies and NATO partners on information environment assessment.
- Contribute to the development of strategic communications policy and planning documents.
- Provide support to committees.
- Draft media products, including web stories and transcripts.
- Assist with media accreditations and media operations.
- Assist with the planning and execution of press tours.
- Attend relevant meetings and provide summaries.
- Draft reviews of media environments.
- Provide administrative support.
Required Experience
- At least two years of university level studies OR equivalent education OR be currently a student OR a recent graduate (degree obtained no longer than 12 months ago).
- Previous experience with other international organizations, national administration, research or industry (desirable).
Qualifications
