Overview
Support private sector fundraising and individual giving strategies by sourcing, producing, and curating engaging content across digital platforms. Enhance the visibility and effectiveness of IOM’s fundraising efforts through collaboration with various teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable fundraising by sourcing content designed to engage fundraising target audiences aligned with strategy, messaging, and campaign plans.
- Support the content needs of Goodwill Ambassadors, celebrities, influencers and corporate partners.
- Review fundraising plans and proactively collate, produce, write, and edit multi-media content.
- Create, build, curate and manage a media library to support fundraising efforts.
- Work closely with various teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with strategies.
- Identify and craft compelling narratives around IOM’s work, focusing on human-centred storytelling.
- Create awareness and engagement multimedia content for social media platforms.
- Support the development of paid media fundraising advertising creative.
- Assist in the development and execution of digital campaigns, events, and public awareness initiatives.
- Support the preparation of press materials to support fundraising activities.
- Monitor content engagement and performance across digital platforms, reporting on key metrics.
- Ensure content aligns with organizational branding guidelines and fundraising requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with digital content trends and recommend new approaches.
Required Experience
- Master’s degree with two years of relevant professional experience; or University degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional experience in content creation, writing, digital communications, or media production, preferably in an international or non-profit context.
- Experience managing and curating media libraries.
- Proven ability to craft compelling written content for various digital platforms.
- Strong knowledge of digital media trends and platforms, with experience managing social media accounts.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver communications and fundraising content under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with individual giving fundraising teams and supporting marketing and campaign plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Design, or a related field; or University degree in the above fields.
