Overview

Provide administrative and client support to Operational Staff working in various sectors, coordinated by the Task Team Leader, within the Mozambique Country Office.


Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and format routine correspondence.
  • Provide core support in task management, procurement, database management, information technology, and editorial assistance.
  • Perform basic analytical and reporting tasks.
  • Format, edit, and quality-check large and complex documents.
  • Collect, enter, track, and maintain project and operational data.
  • Track and report on key aspects of the team’s operational activities.
  • Attend meetings, prepare minutes, and ensure timely clearance and distribution.
  • Coordinate with CMU colleagues.
  • Prepare documents, reports, tables, figures, graphs and presentations.
  • Support logistical planning and coordination for missions, visits, conferences, workshops, and events.
  • Respond to inquiries and route requests.
  • Maintain distribution lists, contact databases, project and administrative files.
  • Serve as back up to other Team/Program Assistants.
Required Experience

At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a large international, service oriented, or private sector organization.

Qualifications

Preferably a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Office Management or Business Administration. University Degree will be an advantage.
