Overview
The Education Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating educational classes and activities to promote and facilitate access to quality and safe educational opportunities for children in the Giza area.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate educational classes and activities.
- Lead a team of education teachers and volunteers.
- Implement educational interventions based on beneficiaries’ educational needs.
- Conduct regular observation and monitoring visits to educational classes and activities.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in project implementation in the development/humanitarian field with a reputable NGO in Egypt.
- Highly familiar with the refugees and migrant’s context in Egypt.
- Previous experience in the education field.
- Proven knowledge and skills in education activities’ planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Proven successful experience in team management.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Good training and facilitation skills.
- Strong networking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Very good at using the internet, MS Office, Email, and spreadsheets.
- Preferably experience in working with UASC, youth, and adolescents.
- Preferably experience in implementing similar educational interventions to the targeted group.
- Preferably experience with using technology in education.
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Education, Social Sciences, or relevant development/management Studies
