Overview
The Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of office spaces, common areas, and facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean offices, classrooms, main rooms, living rooms, washrooms/WC, kitchen, corridors, stairs, and outdoor areas.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are properly stocked.
- Ensure classrooms are ready and clean before and after each session.
- Dust and polish furniture, windows, and doors.
- Empty wastepaper baskets, dustbins, and shredding machines.
- Report any gaps, damages, or breakages to the line manager.
- Support the administration with general duties.
- Ensure the availability of kitchen and toilet supplies.
- Water indoor and outdoor plants.
Required Experience
- Experience from working as a Cleaner in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
