Overview
This role strengthens international cooperation and evidence-based action on energy security by driving analysis, partnership engagement, and the design, delivery, and review of regional activities and projects within the OSCE.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse current and emerging energy-security issues.
- Lead the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of OSCE extra-budgetary and unified-budget projects in energy security.
- Coordinate with government representatives, technical specialists and multilateral partners.
- Review and adjust project outputs.
- Organise and support technical meetings, seminars and conferences.
- Prepare briefing notes, speeches, statements and reports for senior OSCE leadership and participating States.
- Contribute to OSCE committees, forums and follow-up processes.
- Undertake additional tasks that support OCEEA’s broader mandate on economic and environmental security.
Required Experience
At least five years of progressively responsible experience in energy security and/or economic-environmental development, preferably within the OSCE region or an international setting. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and managing donor-funded projects.
Qualifications
A second-level university degree in economics, business administration, law, geography, natural or social sciences, or international relations, preferably with a focus on energy.
