Overview
Internship opportunity supporting the North-East Asian Subregional Programme for Environmental Cooperation (NEASPEC), with a focus on Low Carbon Cities (LCC) and preparations for 2026 activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting desk research on relevant LCC topics to support drafting and preparing official documents under supervision;
- Supporting the structuring and content organization of the NEA-LCCP online platform;
- Assisting in the drafting, editing, and formatting of LCC communication and knowledge products, including web content materials;
- Providing administrative and logistical support for LCC-related meetings, workshops, or forums, as required;
- Attending and summarizing meeting proceedings.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Teams.
