Overview
The National Graphic Design Consultant will support the development and implementation of communication and visibility activities for IOM's Protection Unit in Pakistan. The role focuses on designing and producing visual communication products to enhance programme visibility and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce visual communication materials including infographics, reports, brochures, standees, banners, signboards, factsheets, presentations, social media graphics, and other visibility products.
- Support the layout and formatting of programme documents and publications.
- Develop visual concepts and creative communication products.
- Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including graphics, short videos, and digital storytelling products.
- Coordinate with programme teams to understand communication needs.
- Ensure compliance with IOM media, branding, and donor visibility requirements.
- Support the preparation of visual materials for events, campaigns, workshops, and presentations.
- Maintain an organized archive of design templates, graphic assets, and communication materials.
- Review final design outputs for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Support the communications team in maintaining a consistent visual identity.
- Undertake travel in Pakistan for field coverage and support as required.
- Systematically integrate age, gender, and diversity perspective into all activities.
- Perform any other related duties as required by the supervisor.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in graphic design and visual communication.
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design and visual communication.
- Experience in designing infographics, publications, social media graphics, and communication materials.
- Experience in video editing, animation, or multimedia production is an advantage.
- Experience working with international organizations, humanitarian or development agencies is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
