Overview

The Reporting & Route-based Intern will provide analytical support to the DTM Route Based Research team and operational reporting support to DTM Country and Regional offices. The role focuses on contributing to the production of the Global Overview of Migration Routes and supporting quality control for DTM analytic outputs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support in analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Facilitate the logistical organization of webinars.
  • Provide updates on human mobility trends, changes and any other significant observations.
  • Assist in the production and quality control of documents.
  • Coordinate with other units of the global DTM support team.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support.
  • Assist in the refinement of DTM’s data collection methodologies and questionnaires.
  • Support technical training of other staff.
Required Experience
  • Less than two years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience drafting analytic outputs.
  • Experience in quantitative research methods.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from an accredited academic institution in a field of study related to Economics/ Development Economics, Data Science, Political Science, Social Science, Development Studies, Public health, Epidemiology or other relevant disciplines with a significant quantitative component.
  • Alternatively, a bachelor’s/undergraduate degree in the abovementioned fields with demonstrable relevant working experience.

Remuneration
