Overview
Provide life skills training activities to clients in their homes and the community under the direction of a staff occupational therapist. Assist in teaching group activities and collaborate with various IRC programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide life skills training activities in client homes and in the community.
- Provide assistance teaching group activities.
- Communicate with caseworkers, health team members, and others at IRC.
- Document activities completed and client response.
- Attend staff meetings as schedule allows.
- Assist staff occupational therapist and OT students as assigned.
- Support the IRC–SLC office with other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Interest in working with diverse populations. Background in health promotion, social work, or other related field preferred.
