Overview

Support the HR function through accurate reporting, robust HR data management, and actionable insights. This role contributes to transforming HR data into relevant information that supports evidence-based decision-making, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update HR information systems and personnel records; conduct regular data validation and cleansing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Extract, compile, and analyze HR metrics and datasets (e.g., headcount, staff turnover/attrition rates, absenteeism, recruitment and selection indicators, contractual entitlements, demographic data including gender parity, training and performance-related indicators) from sources such as WINGS, Workday, payroll extracts, surveys, and employment records.
  • Develop standard and ad-hoc reports and support periodic reporting cycles (monthly/quarterly/annual and donor reports, as applicable).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to clearly communicate analyses to the HR function and management.
  • Provide analytical support to workforce planning and organizational structuring; contribute to forward-looking analyses as applicable.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting HR systems and collaborate with IT/systems stakeholders to improve data management processes, reporting efficiency, and automation.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of HR data and compliance with applicable data protection standards; support internal and external audits by preparing accurate HR data and reports.
  • Provide high-quality HR support as needed (e.g., responding to HR queries, liaising on payroll and contract matters, supporting onboarding of new staff, drafting HR documentation, maintaining personnel files/archives, and tracking key deadlines such as contract expirations).
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and written documents for HR management; proofread and quality-check documents in line with guidelines.
Required Experience

At least five years of experience in data management, presentation and visualization, reporting, or analysis.

Qualifications

Secondary school diploma required. A university degree in statistics, information science, business administration, data analytics, or a related field is desirable.
