Overview
The Climate Change Technical Coordinator will provide technical support for climate change adaptation projects, focusing on climate vulnerability assessments and integration into development plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead gender-responsive climate vulnerability assessments.
- Apply climate risk frameworks.
- Facilitate community consultations and participatory workshops.
- Integrate assessment findings into Climate-Resilient Integrated Watershed Development Plans.
- Provide technical guidance for watershed development strategies.
- Support development of climate-resilient recommendations.
- Coordinate with consortium partners and government institutions.
- Build relationships and learn within partner communities.
- Undertake social networks analysis.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in climate Change adaptation Project.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Agriculture, Agribusiness, Livestock related programming experience.
