Overview
The role is responsible for completing specialized and/or standardized processes and activities related to policies and programs to support the effective delivery of assistance packages. Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized and/or standardized processes and activities within the specific technical area of work, supporting alignment with general programme policies and guidelines.
- Provide administrative and/or project management support, in line with established objectives and WFP policies and procedures.
- Within the specific area of responsibility, collect data and support analysis and reporting (e.g., food assistance needs, resource utilization, programme status, performance) to support operational decision-making.
- Record data accurately and timely within the specific technical area of work (e.g., food security and vulnerability assessments) in line with institutional standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate and exchange information with internal counterparts to support effective collaboration, implementation and monitoring of ongoing project activities.
- Support communication and activities with local partners, agencies, NGOs and government institutions.
- Serve as a point of contact for the resolution of general operational queries and seek assistance when needed.
- Follow standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure WFP can respond rapidly and deploy necessary resources to affected areas at the onset of the crisis.
- Contribute to the review of budget plans (AME tool, implementation plans, management plans), monitoring and analysis of programme financial performance (both Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) and Implementation), ensuring accurate recording of expenditures and adherence to budget limits.
- Provide basic analysis on fund and grant balances and forward them to Activity Managers, Head of RAM and Head of Programme to ensure fund utilization.
- Collect data and provide basic analysis, maintain accurate records and files and prepare periodic and timely reports for further review, to support the accuracy and efficiency of information presented to internal stakeholders.
- Manage invoices and vendors: Process and verify service provider invoices in tracking systems (e.g., ITS), resolve discrepancies and manage vendor payments.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of various RAM activities, including collecting data on programme outcomes and impacts, and conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis as needed.

- Has facilitated communication with technical teams (e.g., nutrition, VAM, etc.)
- Has contributed to programme implementation
- Has observed or participated in policy discussions.
- Has experience in managing budget plans.
- Experience in using WFP's monitoring and evaluation systems and standards is valued.
- Experience in collecting data on programme outputs and impacts, as well as conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis is valued.
Qualifications
• Completed university studies in a functional area.
