Overview

The Senior SRH Manager is responsible for overseeing all SRH services and activities in Darfur, ensuring interventions align with MISP and global best practices. The role involves leading the SRH portfolio, coordinating operations, providing training, managing data, and liaising with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of quality SRH program activities.
  • Provide technical oversight and training to field-based health staff.
  • Support community mobilization on SRH.
  • Lead SRH emergency preparedness planning.
  • Ensure proper SRH data recording and promote a culture of learning.
  • Undertake regular field monitoring visits.
  • Support the compilation of data and generation of quality SRH reports.
  • Continuously assess SRH needs and suggest new approaches.
  • Assist the Health Coordinator in proposal writing for SRH funding opportunities.
  • Work closely with other IRC teams to implement holistic and integrated programming.
  • Directly supervise SRH staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee SRH staff work plans.
  • Undertake capacity-development activities/training for relevant IRC and partner staff.
  • Recruit SRH staff.
  • Prepare and maintain/update detailed work plans.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely spending of grants.
  • Coordinate with IRC logistics, finance and grants departments.
  • Co-lead and/or proactively engage with regional and national SRH working groups.
  • Undertake/participate in liaison, coordination, and information sharing activities.
  • Serve as the main focal point with SRH implementing partners.
  • Proactively involve IRC’s implementing partners at each stage of the program management cycle.
  • Regularly monitor performance of the Partner.
Required Experience
  • At least 3 years humanitarian project management experience.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and working knowledge of SRH in humanitarian settings and MISP implementation.
  • Demonstrated training and coaching skills.
  • Thorough understanding of GBV response and service provision and integration between SRH and GBV activities and teams.
  • Thorough understanding of BEmONC programming and protocols.
  • Proven abilities in developing work plans, data collection/ analysis and performance monitoring, with ability to interpret and validate SRH data.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in midwifery, public health, Medicine or a related field.
