Overview
Provide strategic and technical leadership to integrate gender equality, inclusion, and conflict-sensitive approaches across all EFASS components. Support and oversee direct implementation of key education models.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership to integrate gender equality, inclusion, and conflict-sensitive approaches across all EFASS components.
- Shape design, implementation, monitoring, evidence generation and policy engagement.
- Support and oversee direct implementation of key education models in the selected state.
Required Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in gender and inclusion in education, including work in emergencies or fragile contexts.
- Proven expertise in gender transformative Education programming, teacher training, and education system strengthening.
- Demonstrated experience in disability inclusion approaches within education programmes.
- Experience with gender analysis, gender action learning and conflict sensitive approaches.
- Experience with providing technical support/advice in education across project portfolios and levels, and/or within consortia.
- Experience working with government systems (preferably MoGEI, MGCSW or equivalent) and managing or supporting donor-funded programmes (e.g., FCDO, GPE, ECW).
- Proven experience in strengthening capacity, mentoring and supporting technical teams at national/sub-national levels.
Qualifications
Advance degree in Gender Studies, Education, Social Development, or a related field.
