Overview
Support the implementation of Oxfam’s MEAL strategy and framework in Syria. The role involves assisting with data collection, analysis, reporting, and managing beneficiary feedback and accountability system.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, analysis, reporting, and managing beneficiary feedback and accountability system.
- Provide technical support to Hub teams and partner organizations in applying MEAL systems and processes.
- Ensure timely sharing of MEAL findings and learning to improve program quality.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience of working in the humanitarian field.
- At least 2 years of direct experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) in one or more of the following sectors: WASH, Livelihood, Food Security, Protection, and emergency response.
- Solid experience in field data collection and supervising data collectors/enumerators.
- Proven experience in using digital data collection tools such as Kobo Toolbox, ODK Tool, Survey CTO, or related tools including form Development using XLS Forms.
- Very strong Excel skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Good experience in data management (cleaning, verification, analysis, visualization).
- Good knowledge in analyzing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in coordinating with internal departments and partners (e.g., WASH, FSL, Protection, Gender, Logistics).
- Good organizational skills, including accuracy, consistency, attention to detail, tenacity, and the ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Ability to plan workload and demonstrate accountability for outputs with the supervision of the line manager.
Qualifications
• Minimum University degree (completed).
