Overview

Provides timely credible and integrated information on trends, risks, perceptions and developments of relevance for the implementation of Registry objectives in ICC situation and non-situation countries.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provides timely credible and integrated information on trends, risks, perceptions and developments of relevance for the implementation of Registry objectives in ICC situation and non-situation countries.
  • Continuously monitors the socio-political and security developments in situation countries or any other country of interest to the Court by consulting a wide variety of open sources.
  • Conducts field information collection missions for specific risk assessments identified by the Head of Unit or Analysts.
  • Brings to the immediate attention of the Unit any significant developments or “breaking news” either in situation countries or any other country of interest for the Court.
  • Assists the Unit in information collection and fact-checking for the purpose of risk assessments or other assessments and reports, as required.
Required Experience

A minimum of six years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in information collection, reporting and analysis of political, socio-economic, human rights and security sectors of which a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the field of analysis.

Qualifications

Diploma of secondary education.

Languages Required
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, English or French, is required.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of the other working language of the Court (English or French) is an asset. Advanced knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Chinese, Russian, Spanish) would be considered an asset.
Contract Duration
two-year appointment with the possibility of extension (six month probationary period)
