Overview
The Project (Labour Mobility) Intern will acquire a working knowledge and gain experience working in a United Nations (UN) agency and learn about IOM activities in Australia and the Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support for labour mobility project activities.
- Retrieve, compile, summarise, and present information and data related to labour mobility programming.
- Contribute to drafting reports, presentations, and visual materials, including support for training module finalisation and design.
- Help coordinate with internal teams and external partners for project implementation.
- Assist in organising meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including logistics and documentation.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
Interns must have less than two years of relevant working experience.
Qualifications
- Completed a university degree from an accredited academic institution within 1 year or in the final year of study, preferably in a field of study related to Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook.
