Overview

Responsible for driving IOM vehicles to transport staff and authorized goods safely and cost-effectively, performing daily vehicle maintenance, and assisting with administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Drive IOM vehicle(s) and execute assigned tasks.
  • Ensure safety of passengers, cargo, and vehicles.
  • Observe traffic rules and road discipline.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
  • Make weekly reports on vehicle status.
  • Report vehicle defects or malfunctioning.
  • Assist in planning and control of services.
  • Inform supervisors and obtain police reports in case of accident.
  • Maintain vehicle road log sheet, including fuel status and oil changing.
  • Maintain a checklist of spares, jack, and toolbox.
  • Collect mail and deliver documents.
  • Refuel the vehicle as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle.
  • Ensure vehicle is used only for official/authorized business.
  • Return keys for safeguarding.
  • Be prepared to work during weekends and after hours.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.
Required Experience
  • At least two years continuous vehicle driving experience (if High School diploma).
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Good knowledge of routes within the country.
  • Good knowledge and working experience with HF and VHF Radios.
  • Computer skills, especially in MS Office Word, Outlook and excel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree + Valid Driving License (B, C, D class) OR
  • High School diploma + Valid Driving License (B, C, D class)
  • Minimum O-Level education.
