Overview
The Senior Technical Manager will provide technical support to Implementation, External Engagement/Learning, and Capacity Building for the Big Dream End Child Marriage (BDECM) Program. The role ensures programming aligns with World Vision and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance in the design and implementation of child protection project approaches/models.
- Ensure technical approaches, promoted methodology and tools are designed to meet ministry goals and donor sector strategies.
- Oversee the development and implementation of technical capacity building plans for field office staff.
- Provide technical support in child protection dialogues, external engagement and strategic positioning.
- Proactively seek opportunities for external engagement and technical branding of project learnings and achievements.
Required Experience
- 8 years of ECM technical experience in an international NGO.
- 4 years’ + experience in overseeing child protection, and / PSEA, GBV work as a team lead.
- Strong Project Management skills.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Development studies, human rights, International development or equivalent in technical area, or field/practical experience working with situations of policy formation, guidance and implementation.
