Overview

The Youth Employability Project Officer will lead the adaptation, contextualization, and delivery of the Life Skills for Success (LS4S) curriculum to equip local youth with vocational training, life skills, and improve employment opportunities in Thailand.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the adaptation and contextualization of the LS4S curriculum.
  • Design and deliver training-of-trainers (ToT) workshops.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and technical assistance to partners and facilitators.
  • Develop and refine training materials, manuals, and tools.
  • Gather feedback from partners and youth to strengthen the curriculum.
  • Track training outcomes, document lessons learned, and report on progress.
  • Support the planning and coordination of youth employability and life skills activities.
  • Liaise with local stakeholders to strengthen buy-in and collaboration.
  • Contribute to donor reporting.
  • Support the update and revision of project management tools.
  • Prepare procurement and administrative documentation.
  • Prepare the planning and logistics of project activities.
  • Establish clear and compelling objectives with team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and evaluate project activities.
  • Collect information for timely and quality reporting.
  • Document project activities, including case studies and lessons learned.
  • Participate in regular meetings with SC member offices.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Bangkok Programme Coordinator and New Business Development team for donor engagement.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in training design and facilitation, preferably with youth, education, or life skills programs.
  • Proven experience in adapting training materials or curricula for local contexts.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to build capacity of trainers, teachers, or community facilitators.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • Program management skills.
  • Advanced level of IT skills.
  • An outstanding service-oriented attitude and a can-do mindset.
  • Desirable: Proven track record of delivering high-quality training in at least one of the following areas: customer service, vocational skills, life skills, digital literacy, or career guidance.
  • Desirable: Quickly adapt to new topics, grasp concepts on the go, and synthesize information efficiently.
  • Desirable: Ability and willingness to travel domestically as assigned including in the Deep South.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Youth Development, or a field(s) relevant to development work.
