Overview
The Project Officer leads on-the-ground implementation of youth employability and livelihood initiatives, working closely with communities, LGUs, and partners to deliver inclusive, gender-responsive, and safeguarding-compliant programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement project activities aligned with approved workplans, safeguarding, and gender equality standards
- Coordinate and facilitate skills training (employment and entrepreneurship) based on market and community needs
- Lead monitoring, reflection, and learning sessions with youth and partners
- Document project results, good practices, and lessons learned
- Support data collection and reporting with the MERL Officer
- Engage LGUs and private partners on policy support, advocacy, and community campaigns
- Organize and mentor youth and children’s groups as community change agents
Required Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in community development, basic education, or gender-focused programs. Strong background in participatory approaches, working directly with youth and communities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, or related fields. Training in areas such as community organizing, gender and development, child/youth protection, project management, or green skills is an advantage.
