Overview
Develop and deliver online capacity-building training modules on migrant assistance and monitoring & evaluation for NGOs and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with the project team to confirm expectations, participant profiles, languages, and technical requirements.
- Review existing organizational materials, SOPs, and national frameworks.
- Submit an Inception Report including methodology, curriculum outline, online facilitation plan, and training M&E approach.
- Develop a modular online training package, including Trainer Guide, Participant Manual, PowerPoint slide decks, case studies, exercises, job aids, checklists, and an M&E toolkit.
- Ensure materials are interactive, accessible, visually clear, and optimized for online learning platforms.
- Submit draft materials for review, incorporate feedback, and finalize.
- Conduct training cohorts for NGOs and other stakeholders using interactive online methods.
- Implement pre-/post-training assessments and collect participant feedback.
- Provide brief follow-up support via email or online Q&A session (optional).
- Revise modules based on participant feedback and learning outcomes.
- Submit a Final Report including a summary of training implementation, pre/post test results, participant engagement statistics, evaluation of learning outcomes, and recommendations for future online capacity building.
- Submit all finalized training materials and source files.
Required Experience
- Five years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, economics, social sciences, marketing, business administration, sustainable development or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing analytical works, preferably in migration related fields.
- At least 5 years of proven experience preferably in social research areas.
- Previous experience in conducting international research including using research techniques such as surveying, KIIs and Focus Groups.
- Knowledge and understanding of the relationship between migration and development and diaspora engagement.
- Advanced experience in drafting research tools and sampling frameworks, as well as data management and analysis.
- Experience in working with international organizations and UN agencies is an advantage.
- Previous experience in developing reports for national governments is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, economics, social sciences, marketing, business administration, sustainable development or a related field.
