Overview
The incumbent will be engaged to design and draw illustrations for project information, education and communication (IEC) materials, enhancing communication and visibility of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Review training materials and develop a workplan for illustrations.
- Illustrate images and texts for insertion in training materials.
- Analyze texts and translate related concepts into illustrations.
- Use colours, graphics and effects to visualize concepts.
- Combine hand-drawn and painted artworks with computer and digital techniques.
- Perform rounds of corrections following quality checks.
- Deliver files in high- and low-resolution, as well as complete design packages.
Required Experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in illustrative work for training and education materials with the United Nations or international organizations.
Qualifications
- University Diploma from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in illustrations.
- Certification in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop software
