Overview
This position supports the Supply Chain Unit with a primary focus on warehouse and inventory management. The incumbent will assist in receiving goods, managing stock movements, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in warehouse operations, including receiving goods, updating warehouse records, and supporting dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including all stock movements.
- Receive goods, verify quantities and quality against Purchase Orders, and report discrepancies.
- Support proper storage, labelling, and organization of items.
- Process and document all stock movements, including preparing Goods Received Notes (GRNs), waybills, and stock release forms.
- Support coordination with end-users regarding dispatch and delivery of items.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or expired items.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment.
- Prepare periodic inventory and stock reports.
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
- One year of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Three years of relevant professional experience with a High school diploma.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain support functions.
- Experience supporting asset management processes.
- Experience working with IOM/UN Procurement and Logistics Rules and Procedures is an advantage.
- Experience working in an international organisation is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
- High school diploma.
