Overview

The internship aims to attract talented students and graduates interested in areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities, providing support on partnerships coordination, communication, and administration.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in partnerships coordination, including translation, partnership building, project support, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of documents, reports, and communication materials.
  • Assist with collecting and organizing project data and information.
  • Assist with the development of new projects and implementation of existing projects.
  • Support the development and maintenance of IOM China's social media platforms and website.
  • Support online and offline events.
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief of Mission.
  • Perform other tasks required by the Chief of Mission.
Required Experience

Interns should have less than two years of relevant working experience.

Qualifications
  • Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months.
  • Between 20 and 36 years of age.

Remuneration
Depending on experience and location, interns are granted a small monthly stipend to help offset costs. Interns benefiting from an internship allowance or scholarship granted by their university or other sponsoring body that includes financial remuneration or credits for coursework will not be eligible for the stipend. IOM covers Interns against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the internship.
