Overview
The Health Coordinator will provide technical support and coordination for health programs in Ukraine, focusing on improving access to essential primary healthcare services for conflict-affected populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advisory support to URCS health leadership, including capacity building, SOP development, and integration of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).
- Support the implementation, evaluation, and modification of CRC health activities in collaboration with URCS health team and local authorities.
- Support the setup, management, and supervision of Health Information Systems (HIS).
- Design new emergency or recovery health programs/operations, including epidemic control, disease prevention, and surveillance activities.
- Responsible for data collection for regular reports and contribute to workplans and reports.
- Support monitoring visits to project sites and integration of lessons learned.
- Foster teamwork, provide mentorship, and complete administrative tasks.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in health program management with a strong community-based focus
- Experience in coordination role
- Experience in project management
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation of health projects/programs
- Demonstrated experience in report writing and presentations
- Preferred: Experience working within the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in public health, health management, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
