Overview

Support the drafting of a report on opportunities and challenges related to the digitalization of power grids in the Arab region, focusing on policy recommendations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and assess relevant literature, data, policy documents, and institutional materials.
  • Examine capacity gaps in utilities, regulators, and institutions.
  • Assess how digitalization of power grids can address rural–urban electricity disparities, energy access, and affordability.
  • Integrate gender-responsive perspectives into the analysis.
  • Identify relevant regional and international success stories and best practices.
  • Prepare short and policy-oriented case-study boxes.
  • Ensure that each section of the report is analytical, policy-relevant, clearly structured, and consistent with the agreed scope and style of the report.
Required Experience

A minimum of 10 years of work experience in electricity, connectivity and digitalization or related to the above-mentioned fields is required.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent degree related to energy, digitalization, or a related field is required.
