Overview
This post is responsible for providing financial support to the office by monitoring and reporting on key financial aspects of the fundraising operation and carrying out critical Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR) related activities at the country level.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor income and expenditures against the annual workplan.
- Contribute to resource mobilization efforts by supporting the preparation of financial data.
- Draft Private Sector Fundraising budget and support the preparation of revenue forecasts.
- Monitor and report on fundraising contributions and allocations.
- Manage reconciliation of donation income across systems.
- Maintain and support management of local bank accounts related to fundraising.
- Ensure proper interpretation and application of PFP financial policies and procedures.
- Lead monthly bank reconciliation processes.
- Support contribution management processes.
- Perform additional financial operational tasks as required.
Required Experience
- Minimum of six years of work experience in accounting or finance area.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools, Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience in finance unit of fundraising companies/institutions will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP Systems will be considered an asset.
- Skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and professional experience in digitalizing financial tools will be considered a strong asset.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- University courses in Finance, Administration or Accounting disciplines are highly desirable.
