Overview
The People & Culture Associate supports the effective delivery of core workforce processes, data management, and coordination of P&C activities within the Global Emergency Unit, with a particular focus on the Global Surge Team. This role ensures employee data, systems, and processes are accurate, up to date, and well-coordinated to support operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage GST benefit processes accurately and in a timely manner, including monthly audits in Workday.
- Coordinate with EmU Finance and Deployment Management to collect, organize, and validate GST-related workforce cost data.
- Provide coordination and administrative support for P&C initiatives impacting GST staff.
- Help ensure GST policies and processes are consistently applied.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to GST processes.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry, updates, and maintenance in HR systems (e.g., Workday).
- Conduct regular data quality checks and investigate data discrepancies.
- Support the improvement of HR data processes.
- Compile and prepare recurring workforce reports.
- Review data outputs to identify basic trends, gaps, or irregularities.
- Track and follow up on mandatory training completion.
- Maintain and update dashboards, spreadsheets, and trackers.
- Support ongoing process reviews.
- Assist in implementing process improvements.
- Maintain and regularly update P&C information on RescueNet and other internal platforms.
- Draft and coordinate routine communications.
- Support staff engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Respond to or triage basic P&C-related queries.
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support across P&C activities.
- Assist with tasks related to duty of care, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, and other P&C priorities.
- Support cross-team collaboration.
Required Experience
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in HR/P&C, administration, data management, or operations.
- Exposure to fast-paced or international work environments is an advantage.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
