Overview

To coordinate and provide high quality, client-focused and value-for-money oriented administration services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Verify resource requirements and assist in identifying new requirements.
  • Provide services such as facilities management, travel, protocol and light vehicle management.
  • Support the production of data and compile reports.
  • Contribute to planning, monitoring and processing administrative actions related to procurement, finance, human resources, etc.
  • Adapt and update administrative processes.
  • Answer queries related to administrative services.
  • Coordinate the activities of a team of staff.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff in administrative procedures and systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience

6 years of progressively responsible work in the relative business stream with experience in administration work with the UN or other international organizations. Has demonstrated a sound understanding of WFP administrative operating standards and awareness of international humanitarian development issues through day to day work. Has provided ad-hoc guidance to new staff members.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school education (HSSC - 12 Grade). A post-secondary certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Public Administration, Finance, Management Economics, Commerce, Engineering or other relevant field relating to Administration of Facilities, Assets and Fleet is desirable.
