Overview
The Audit Coordination Analyst supports the Office of Financial Resources Management in its role as the UNDP audit focal point with the UN Board of Auditors and other key audit matters. The role involves coordinating communications, providing data collection and analytical support, and supporting audit review processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate communications between UNDP and UNBOA.
- Coordinate UNBOA audit visits to headquarters, bureaus and country offices.
- Facilitate responses to UNBOA requests for information.
- Conduct data collection and provide analytical support related to UNDP’s audit performance.
- Support the preparation of briefings, reports, data visualizations and presentations for senior management.
- Support the review of Audit Observation Memorandum and audit reports.
- Prepare management responses to ad-hoc requests.
- Identify, synthesize and document best practices and lessons learned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) and 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of directly relevant experience in the area of audit, compliance and/or oversight assurance.
- Experience in Audit (external or internal), Finance, Accounting, Business management.
- Experience in Research and Analysis.
- Experience in MS Excel and Power Point.
- Experience in Report writing.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Accounting, Audit, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- Or a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
