Overview
Provide technical support to UNICEF’s Regional Office and Country Offices in Latin America and the Caribbean for country programme planning processes and products. The role ensures alignment with UNICEF guidelines, quality standards, and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to ensure Country Programme Planning (CPP) processes align with UNICEF policies and guidelines.
- Review country documentation and quality assure country programme plans.
- Support the preparation, review, and quality assurance of key planning documents (UNSDCF, CPD, CPMP).
- Lead or support the production of CPP-related documentation, including Strategic Intent Memos and PowerPoint presentations.
- Prepare and coordinate key activities throughout the CPP process and review exercises.
- Support the development of programme and business model analyses.
- Support the generation and quality assurance of evidence synthesis reports.
- Support capacity-building activities on UNICEF’s Rights- and Results-Based Programming (RRBP) approach.
- Develop, adjust, and review learning and training materials in English and Spanish.
Required Experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in working with country program planning with UNICEF or other UN agencies is required.
- Experience in research and evidence generation will be considered as an asset.
- Experience in project coordination, report writing, capacity building material, impactful presentations, is required.
- Experience in facilitating strategic discussion and guiding groups in consensus seeking activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Social Sciences, or other related technical fields.
- A Master degree or equivalent, in relevant technical matters indicated above, will be considered as an asset.
